Getting Started
Browse Events
Visit the homepage to see all upcoming countdowns sorted by date. Each card displays the event name, a real-time countdown timer, and a confidence score indicating how reliable the date is.
Filter & Sort
Use the filter bar to narrow events down by category (tech, gaming, entertainment, politics). You can also sort by date or confidence and change the sort direction.
Check Confidence
Each event has a confidence score from 0-100%. Higher scores mean the date is more reliable. Events with 90%+ confidence have officially confirmed dates.
Set Your Timezone
Whenext automatically detects your timezone, but you can manually change it using the timezone selector in the filter bar. All countdown timers adjust accordingly.
Subscribe to Calendar
Use the calendar subscription feature to add upcoming events directly to your Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook.
Understanding Confidence Scores
Every countdown on Whenext includes a confidence score that indicates how reliable the date information is.
Official announcement with confirmed date. These events are almost certain to happen on the specified date.
Strong indication from reliable sources or well-established historical patterns.
Educated guess based on industry patterns and reliable speculation from multiple sources.
Speculation or very uncertain information. Treat these dates as rough estimates.
